3rd Annual FitGems Awards: Blogger of the Year

Congrats to ISAAC HINDS on winning Blogger of the Year at the 3rd Annual FitGems Awards!

Isaac Hinds is no stranger to speaking his peace when it comes to things. Whether you like his opinions or not, he's gonna to tell you about the industry and the people in it as he sees fit (no pun intended). Do you have to like it? NO. Do you have to read his stuff? NO. But those that do tend to have somewhat of a better understanding of the industry. On his predictions, he's usually about right on things. I'm not saying bet the barn every time he makes a prediction on his blog, but I would take his stuff seriously if I were you.

Runner-up: Jason Adams

Others nominated include Dean Sucich, GeneX, Carl Burkins (dallas3), and Area Orion.

3rd Annual FitGems Awards: Industry Blog of the Year

Congrats to HARDBODY NEWS for Industry Blog of the Year at the 3rd Annual FitGems Awards!

For many people (including yours truly), Hardbody News was the first blog to inform me of female muscle news and content. They have interview, show previews and reviews, photoshoot previews, etc. Other blogs are stepping up to the plate, but based off the votes received, Hardbody News still remains the best of the best when it comes to industry blogs. To view the blog, go to http://www.hardbody.com/news.

3rd Annual FitGems Awards: Industry Facebook Fan Page of the Year

Congrats to HARDBODY NEWS on winning Industry Facebook Fan Page of the Year at the 3rd Annual FitGems Awards.

Facebook has become almost a necessity for competitors to make it big in the industry, almost as important as official sites themselves. And it's not just the competitors getting into the fan page movement, but industry members as well. And Hardbody News knows how to use it effectively. As of late, motivational pictures have been posted daily, as well as preview shots from Hardbody. The fan page does what it needs to do: give enough for fans to "like" the page. Good job to Hardbody News! If you haven't done so yet, "Like" them at https://www.facebook.com/hardbodynews.

3rd Annual FitGems Awards: Female Celebrity Muscle of the Year

Congrats to WWE Diva KAITLYN on winning Female Celebrity Muscle of the Year at the 3rd Annual FitGems Awards!

It's awesome to see females in the celebrity world put on a bit of muscle these days. More and more ladies are realizing that FIT is in and SKINNY is just not cutting it these days. It's even cooler when one of our own is part of that celebrity spotlight showing off an amazing figure. That's the case with former figure competitor Celeste Bonin, who now goes by the name of Kaitlyn in WWE. Since winnning NXT Season 3, Kaitlyn has went on to become one of WWE's most popular Divas on the Smackdown brand. Her wrestling has come a long way since NXT and her physique has slimmed down from her NXT days, but don't you DARE mistake her for a cookie-cutter bimbo. She has shown that she can talk the talk and walk the walk, and we at FitGems expect great things from this Diva in the new year. Divas Champion in 2012?! We hope so!!

Runner-up: Kelly Ripa

Others nominated include Elizabeth Hasslebeck, Hope Solo, Poppy Montgomery, and Trish Stratus

3rd Annual FitGems Awards: Male Supporter of the Year

Congrats to ISAAC HINDS on winning Male Supporter of the Year at the 3rd Annual FitGems Awards!

He's been called a nerd (among other funny things), but there's one thing that can't be denied: he does what he can to support the ladies in this industry. His opinions on some things and some competitors might not be the most popular (there have been a few things that I have questioned at time), but most of the time, he seems to know what he's talking about. A supporter is someone who praises you for the good, and let's you know when you need to make some improvements, whether you want to admit them yourselves or not. I think Isaac fits that bill.

Runner-up: Jason Lannigan (Sioux)

Others nominated included Jason Adams, Jack Titone, Carl Burkins (dallas3), and Curt James.

3rd Annual FitGems Awards: Female Website of the Year

Congrats to TANJI JOHNSON on winning Female Website of the Year at the 3rd Annual FitGems Awards!

When one opens a website, people take notice. When one redoes a website, people take notice. That was apparently the case for one Tanji Johnson. Tanji recently redid her official website and people fell in love it with. It's cool-looking, easy to navigate, the whole nine yards. The best sites are those that you don't need a manual to view, and Tanji's site fits the bill perfectly. Don't believe me? Check it out for yourself at http://www.tanjijohnson.com.

Runner-up: Ann Titone (http://www.anntitone.com)

Others nominated included Mandy Henderson (www.mandyhenerson.com), Stephanie Wilkes (www.stephaniewilkes.com), Brittany Beede (www.brittanybfit.com), and Monica Escalante (www.monfit.com).

3rd Annual FitGems Awards: Supplement Company of the Year

Congrats to GASPARI NUTRITION on winning Supplement Company of the Year at the 3rd Annual FitGems Awards!

Gaspari Nutrition has been one of the top leaders of supplements for quite some time. Those who use their products have achieved much success. When most people think of Gaspari, Ava Cowan is among the first females to come to mind. She's one of their premier athletes, along with other top stars such as Felicia Romero, Krissy Chin, Jamie Baird, Mariza Prince, and Trish Warren. Their tag is 'The Name You Trust. The Brand That Works". And based off the amount of votes Gaspari received (among the highest of ANY category), the tag lives up to the hype.

Runner-up: Optimum Nutrition

Other nominees included Scivation, BSN, MAN Sports, and Top Secret Nutrition.

3rd Annual FitGems Awards: Team of the Year

Congrats to TEAM BOMBSHELL on winning Team of the Year at the 3rd Annual FitGems Awards!

When it comes to working out, it's best to have a team with you to motivate you to be your very best. There may not be another team out there that has that motivation than Team Bombshell. Lead by Shannon Dey, this team has produced a whole lot of fitness, figure, and bikini competitors, many who have went on to win pro cards, contest, and stepped on the Olympia and Arnold stages. And something tells me that they're only getting started. Congrats Team Bombshell!

Kim Oddo is no stranger to producing champions. His list of clients include current and past Arnold and Olympia champions such as Nicole Wilkins, Gina Aliotti, Monica Brant, and top names such as Amanda Latona, Ava Cowan, Laurie Vaniman, and others. It's no surprise why his list of clients grows each year. More success is on the horizon for Mr. Oddo. Cheers to you, champ!
